Welcome to the Rose Society UK

New in the Member’s Area is;

How to Exhibit Roses – a series of videos designed to explain exactly how to enter your roses in a Rose Society UK rose show.

The videos cover all aspects of showing and entering – go to the member’s area, have a look, have a practice at home and maybe we’ll see you next year at one of our shows?

2020 has been a non-starter for our shows. All shows were cancelled and we were not able to attend with our information bureau and meet the public.

The 2019 Annual General Meeting took place on sunday 17th November. The highlight of the day was the presentation and re-introduction of the Dean Hole Medal. Check the News tab to find out the winner.

THE 2020 SHOW SCHEDULES are now available

2020 sees the introduction of a new rose;

The Barts Nurse  Rose

This is a new rose bred by amateur rose breeder Ronnie Rawlins and will be available in this year

‘Barts Nurse’ roses will stand proudly in the flower beds near the fountain and should be spectacular.

The rose has flat, five inch, Old English type flowers and are peach in colour. The plant stands 36 inches high, is vigorous, prolific, has a pleasant scent and appears totally healthy.

Plants will be available from R V Roger Nurseries in Pickering, North Yorkshire from 2020 . . . . .  read the full story in the Spring edition of The Rose Times located in the Member’s Area
