ROSE SHOWS

Shows

2021 - what a year !

We had a virtual show in Spring which was not what we hoped for but all we could manage under the circumstances. The photographs that we recieved were lovely but no replacement for the real thing.

In July we were allowed to have a show! So, on the 24th we gathered at Pelsall in the West Midlands and had our first face-to-face rose event for almost two years!

The event , although small, was a wonderful return to doing what we all love . . . . . looking at quality roses. Results, report and pictures HERE and in the Summer Rose Times

The good news is that we can now look forward to having our first 'proper' rose show in September at the Harrogate Autumn show at Newby Hall. We're just compiling the schedule and more news and details will be available soon.

In 'normal' times The Rose Society UK (TRSUK) organises up to 4 National Amateur Rose shows each year.

A Spring show is held for members growing greenhouse grown roses. This show has traditionally been held as part of the Malvern Three Counties show in early May.

A Summer show is held for members at the prestigious Squires Garden Centre in Shepperton on the last weekend in June; a premier garden centre owned by our current president Mr Colin Squire OBE DHM.

This show has traditionally been the society's flagship show and has been held as part of the Rose Festival held at Squires Garden Centre in Shepperton AND IT'S BACK in the diary for 25th - 26th June 2022.

See latest news for more information.

A National Autumn Rose Show will be held at Newby Hall Ripon as part of the Harrogate Autumn Show

There will be detailed amateur show results in the members section for all future shows.
