In what is still a very uncertain year, the Shows Committee have decided to run two shows this year.
The first, in May, will be a virtual show and all exhibits will be photographs
The second, in June, will be our Summer Rose Festival at Squires Garden Centre in Shepperton
A third show, in September, is still a possibility but at this stage, without knowing what venues will be open or viable, it's impossible to make solid plans.
The schedule for the first two shows is available to download here;
In 'normal' times The Rose Society UK (TRSUK) organises up to 4 National Amateur Rose shows each year.
A Spring show is held for members growing greenhouse grown roses. This show has traditionally been held as part of the Malvern Three Counties show in early May.
A Summer show is held for members at the prestigious Squires Garden Centre in Shepperton on the last weekend in June; a premier garden centre owned by our current president Mr Colin Squire OBE.
This show has traditionally been the society's flagship show and has been held as part of the Rose Festival held at Squires Garden Centres.
Another Summer show has traditionally been held at a northern venue in July or August – this has been held as part of Chorley flower show until 2019 but no plans are available for 2021.
See latest news for more information.
An Autumn show is generally held in Harrogate which should have been at Newby Hall Ripon in 2020 but it is unknown whether this will be an option in future years.
There will be detailed amateur show results in the members section for all future shows.
